We had E's Upper GI this morning. Boy was that tough! They started out by strapping her down to the table. Yikes! You can imagine how much she didn't like that! She was so angry that by the time they wanted her to drink the stuff, she just wouldn't do it. They even tried giving her something disguised in grape juice, and she just fought it. We did get enough down her that they were able to tell that it wasn't a hernia, which is very good news. That entire process took well over an hour, and she was very upset the entire time. Hopefully we won't have to go through that ever again!
Then, to make matters worse, we had to go have blood drawn and they had a difficult time that. Fortunately, right when they were about to pull out the needle and start over, the blood started going and they didn't have to stick her again. Poor baby! It has been a tough morning for her!
